Pastor Vance Hartzell moved to Oahu from California in 2021. He previously served as Small Group and Singles Pastor for 15 years at Rolling Hills Covenant Church and for 5 years at Yorba Linda Friends Church. Dr. Hartzell holds both a Master’s and Doctor of Ministry degree from Talbot School of Theology, focusing on small group discipleship and church leadership, and later served as an adjunct professor there for five years. Rev. Vance is also a professor at PacRim Christian University. He has also designed small group programs for many large churches. Vance has been married to his wife, Sabrina, for 33 years, and they have two grown children, Marisa and Steven.

COMMITTEES
The Committee shall be concerned with the program, development, education, maintenance, and promotion of stewardship, finance, and mission. It shall prepare a Church budget on the basis of budget requests from the different boards, committees, and auxiliary organizations.
It shall be responsible for providing music for regular worship services, as well as special music for memorials, cantatas, concerts, and other music festivals. The study, research program development, and promotion of established and traditional worship rites, contemporary worship practices, liturgy, as well as religious and secular music as appropriate for church worship and social events.
It shall provide legal and technical leadership in proposing amendments to the existing constitution/ by-laws of the Church, as needed. It shall be responsible for the preparation of a slate of nominees for all elective positions in a regular or special election, taking into consideration the willingness, commitment, and availability of the nominee for the service.
